This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile app “Tournament Buddy” and to the website at tournamentbuddy.mnky-code.de.

a) App usage

When using the app, the following data may be processed:

• tournament data entered by you, such as team names, division names, schedules, and scores
• imported tournament data when you open a QR code or import link
• language or localization settings of your device
• locally generated files when you actively share or export content

Based on the current app setup, this data is generally processed and stored locally on your device.

b) Website usage

When visiting the website, technically necessary server log data may be processed, in particular:

• IP address
• date and time of access
• requested URL
• browser and device information
• referrer, if transmitted

4. Purposes of Processing

Processing is carried out in order to:

• provide the app’s functions
• create, display, import, and share tournament schedules
• technically provide the website
• ensure website stability and security

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, where processing is necessary to provide the functions requested by you
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, where processing is necessary for technical operation, IT security, and error prevention

Your data is only shared with third parties where technically necessary. This may in particular include the hosting or server provider of the website.

Based on the current app setup, tournament data entered in the app is not stored on a server.

7. Storage Period

• App data generally remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
• Website server log data is only stored as long as technically necessary for secure operation.

8. Third Parties and App Stores

When downloading the app via the Apple App Store or Google Play, personal data is processed by the respective platform operator as an independent controller. I have no control over that processing.
